- Use Smart Quotes
-
When enabled, Photoshop will automatically insert smart quotes when quotation marks are typed. The difference between the two is shown here.
- Show Asian Text Options
- This option will display Asian regional text in characters and text panels.
- Enable Missing Glyph Protection
- If you enter non-Roman text (e.g., Japanese or special decorative characters) after selecting a Roman font, Photoshop will automatically substitute an appropriate font to prevent unreadable characters from appearing.
- Show Font Names in English
- This will show non-English fonts using their Roman (English) names.
- Font Preview Size
-
With this option enabled, when you select a font in Photoshop, you are presented with a list of fonts as well as a preview of what the font looks like. This preference allows you to change the size of this preview. Be aware that displaying the font preview is more processor-intensive. You can turn it off altogether by deselecting the checkbox.
